I want to invest in gold and oil. So I have a few questions:

1. Where can I see the price of gold and oil over time? Kind of like how I can do for stocks on Yahoo.
2. Once I decide if I want to buy, how do I go about doing it?
3. Your personal opinion: do you think commodities are a good way to go right now?

These are very difficult times for investors and you have to be very careful. I strongly suggest that you go to a respected broker like Smith Barney and talk to them. They have the experience to help you invest wisely.

    2. Get a commodity broker, and open an account

    1. They will help you with data and charting packages.

    3. Commodities are a great place to be. As a trader, all we need is movement. Whether YOU should be playing there is a different question.

Nobody can tell you how to make money except you. Don’t trust a broker or anyone with your money. Educate yourself and be frugal. I follow the NYMEX Futures when investing in oil or gold.
Scale in to any investment. Take a small amount each month and invest it over time. Don’t get careless or you will get burned.=%5EGOX

Hint: Generally, gold and oil rise when the US dollar weakens.

Don’t send me any money, just thank me.
